Help after the phone dries

I dropped my phone into water, but retrieved within a second. I removed the SIM card & placed my phone in rice for 24 hours. There was a white light blinking on the phone.
What are my next steps to seeing if the phone will still work as before? Are there any restart steps that I need to do?

You did the only thing you can! So Steven is right, prayers to whatever you believe in is next! Wait as long as you can, then boot it up and see!
