Hi. I didn't see any help section, nor any sector specific for my phone, so I posted here; if eventually this post isn't in the right place, then excuse me and please move it into the fitting one. Thanks.
Here we go. I got an alcatel 908 (froyo 2.2.2), which apparently was already rooted; I had the need to unistall some bloatware and install some things which apparently cannot be installed in 2.2.2, so I went into alcatel site and downloaded a damn "upgrade" (q.1.9.4), thinking that this had had solved the issue; I'm not an expert user, so I didn't knew if I had to do some backup first, thus I lost all stuff in the sd, and obviously also the rooting.
Worse, I became unable even to install apps from googleplay, 'cause the "upgrade" was still equipped with the obsolete android marketplace (!), and when I tried to dload stuff from it, I saw just a "it will be downloaded" followed by the dload arrow on the upper bar, wich desappeared after some seconds (naturally, no apps was installed...)
Finally I found around the googleplay apk, installed it and..... when I tried to dload anything, it appeared the message "insufficient space on the device" (I don't know whether it is the correct translation of the message from my language to english: but I suppose that you already figure which it is it), although I have a 2gb's freshly formatted sd.
Searching the net I readed that's a "common and renowned bug of googleplay" (bravo google!) and someone said that's a matter of switching saving from cell space to sd space, and to do this I had to get root access......
So I went to and fro searching for some solution to gain root access; I dloaded superoneclick, tried to root the phone, but after reboot I didn't got any superuser access (indeed I didn't saw either any "success!" message in its window). So I unrooted the cell and tried with the latest gingerbreak; it's wheel spinned infinitely, rather that the alleged 2 minuted to crack the root....... So, I dropped also gingebreak.
Currently I'm with a naked cell, and that's no good.
It is there anyone so kind to solve this case, please? Thanks in advance.
