HELP! All folders not showing up on PC?

So, I swapped my sd card from my old phone (Rezound) to new phone (HTC M8). All my pics, videos, etc showed up immediately on my new phone. Hooked it to my PC (Vista) all the folders were there. Now, a day later, I hook it to my PC and only 3 folders are showing up. After hours of trying different things, I came here for help. My music, DCIM, downloads folders are not showing up. I've tried different cables, computer is set to show hidden folders, removed and reinstalled phone on PC. My google search shows people with this issue, but I don't see any real solution. So frustrated.

First things first: do these folders show up if you look from the phone? And if you use a card reader, can the PC see them? (If the answer to the first question is yes then the answer to the second should be too, so the first is the key). Just want to know for sure they are there.

The best bet is probably to ask in the M8 forum, since that way other users with the same device will see it. I'll ask one of the staff to move the thread.
