Help!!!! Android App Query????

Hello,

I dunno if anyone can help me, basically i am looking for an Instant messager App that doesnt allow background data to be switch on, on an android phone, as when background data is enabled battery power becomes very low!!!

Only problem is i have installed serveral apps like Nimbuzz etc....and because my background data is switch off i am not recieving any notifications from my nimbuzz account, therefore if someone sends me a messages i am unaware that i have recieved a message???? can anyone help, please????

Not sure what you are going for, but I think any im app you try is going to need data to be on in order to receive said data....
 
No, that's in the nature of instant messaging. Background data needs to be on for instant messaging to work - regardless of the app. Otherwise, there's no way for messages to come in and notify you in real-time (right away).
 
so if baqckground data isnt on i am unable to recieve messages, as what happen is my nimbuzz account goes offline by its self, is that because background data isnt enable??
