Hello ! Did someone managed to made his android phone to see and work on a laptop ad hoc wi fi connection , by editing the files within the phone .If there is someone that had managed to do this i'd be very grateful if he could share his knowledge in a coherent and full of explanations tutorial.I wasted days by trying to follow some steps found on the internet with no luck.

I have a Motorola Defy 2.1 android ( with root )
If there are others methods for making the phone work on ad hoc connetion i'm anxious to try them ( dont want to try the program that modify your ad hoc connetion in to a AP , like connectify and others )
