Root Help! Angry Birds misbehaving

So a few weeks ago I downloaded an ad free angry birds seasons apk. Now I'm trying to update to the ad version. I copied the highscores.lue from the old version into my new ABS folder, but then the game wont load new levels, it just crashes to the home screen. I also tried replacing the data/data/com.rovio folder. This lets it load new levels, but it crashes when i bring up the menu. Any ideas how to fix this? It's getting really annoying! Thanks.

The data file might not be compatible. I have seen it happen before. You are going to have to wipe the app data.

Thanks! What do you mean wipe the app data though? Just delete the data/com.rovio folder?

That sounds about right, but you can also go to settings -> Manage Apps -> Angry bird -> Wipe data.
