Root (Help) Best kernel?

"Best" is ones' own opinion.

-Power Kernel is stock with tweaks (no overclocking) from what I know.. true DualCore Mode (I think) lol
-Anthrax Kernel seems to be a favorite around here, not sure why but it can be overclocked to 1.9ghz (again... I think)
-Mac Kernel, aosp and sense versions both overclocking up to 1.9ghz, and this one I know of because I am a current user, also has a sweep2wake feature built in!
 
Agree with Nsciucco.
JMZ kernel works great. Smooth fast and great battery life. I use it on all the ROMs I flash.
Get "Kernel Tuner" to make all the OC adjustments.

Anthrax and MAC kernel are nice, I flashed Buttered Toast kernel last night, testing it out. OC'd at 1566ghz, can go to 1.9 but my phone is comfortable and stable at this

But considering they're all free and and build off blood sweat tears and personal time so that we could use them, they're all good :D
 
There is no best kernel. It all comes down to preference. I'm using buttered toast kernel right now and it's pretty nice. JMZ kernel is great too but you would just have to try them all by yourself and see what you like. Anthrax is popular and has a lot of hype for some reason.
 
I'm running on Unlock Potential Rom with Mac kernel runs really smooth and fast and the battery life is around balance
