Help! Buzz, pause, BuzzBuzzBuzz

Every now and then (once every few days?) my phone will vibrate (only while I'm using it) and then there's a pause and it vibrates 3 times grouped quickly. During the space between the first vibe and the last 3 things get a little laggy. I was just curious what it was? It happens when I use my keyboard or screen (I believe, but for sure keyboard anyway). It's gotta be some button combination I'm pressing but I can't figure it out for the life of me. Droid 2 Global rooted running 2.2.
