Help choosing a phone

CDMA is available in Canada by a couple of carriers (Telus and Sask) and Verizon Roams on them.

I have a Bionic and it is a pretty good phone. I got my wife the Razr last night and it is nicer. If you are not the type to swap batteries, get that. Both will have intermittant data issues as Verizon's LTE is buggy.

Thanks. I really spoke out of ignorance. I just assumed everyone else in the world uses GSM :o

The razor has better hardware better exchange email integration. I'm taking back my wife iphone tonight in getting her a razor. The samsung would be much better if you want to romn it.

I'm not sure I agree with that, the iPhone 4s does have some things going for it like the higher ppi screen, great camera for a phone and a very powerful graphics processor.

I dare to say the iPhone 4s will probably outlast the Razr and probably most current high end smartphones due to that graphics chip.

It sure feels like the rest of the world is on GSM. GSM in Europe works great. Why can't ATT and TMob get their act together?

Sorry I should have been clearer in my post. I was referring to the Samsung that was being considered. Samsung has basic Exchange integration but doesn't let you move messages between folders and such like Moto and HTC. I also think Moto hardware is better than Samsung but Samsung better than HTC.

The iPhone has lots of things going for it! We have four of them in service. Exchange works perfect. The hardware is outstanding. The 5MP camera is still better than the 8MP Moto ones. Better light sensitivity. If you don't surf the net, the iPhone screen is plenty big otherwise, IMO, the retina screen is of no benefit because I can't read text that small and I hate to scroll back and forth constantly. Personally I think the Android (and Amazon) market is better than Apple appstore at this point.
