Root Help/confused?

So I might get this phone from metro but how do you root this? Also there is the same phone that is from T-Mobile and has all these roms for it will it work for the metropcs version or will it brick it? "

Rooting is on this forum one click root. Its some type of Chinese language program. Download from this website http://www.mgyun.com/vroot

And yes you can run the tmobile roms on this. For this phone.

Well only if you unlock bootloader. But i dont really recommend that yet. (I tried unlocking for six damn hours and no luck at all) i have my phone overclocked at 1200 with locked bootloader. Here is the rom i use for now. Pretty damn good! Haha..it will tell you how to install this rom with locked bootloader and how to overclock. Any help and let me know!

I was just about to post that rom/backup. Lol I didn't care for some of the theming so I returned to stock but it is deodexed which is very beneficial.

There are plenty of guides to rooting the 769. If you like being able to read everything you're doing, I recommend not doing the Chinese easy root, besides the old root method is included in the bootloader unlock tutorial. Don't let people discourage you from unlocking the bootloader, it is easy as long as you follow the video to the t. Mine worked first try. So did a lot of other people's. Once you get that done, there are plenty of options available.

Well ive tried the newest fifa 14 on this phone...runs amazing! Dead trigger 2 on high graphics runs pretty smooth as well! So im pretty sure most games if not all will run fine.
 
I understand but that's a chance you take on any midrange phone. If you read around all of your questions are already answered somewhere on the forum.
