Help deleting contacts.

Is there an easy way for me to remove multiple contacts as its synced all my gmail contacts, all 500 of them so now and none of them have numbers linked up or anything so its pointless having them. I cant remove my email account and I arent doing factory reset, is there a way to mark multiple contacts then delete them ? or something like this?
