Yesterday something weird happened. I was in the Android App market looking at my updates, when suddenly the phone shut off. Reboot the phone and it went straight to the triangle with the "!" screen.
did some research and decided to try to flash back to 2.2 and how the phone was when i first got it. Downloaded RSD, the correct SBF and the moto drivers. Everything went smoothly and still, when i went to start up the phone, it just went back to the triangle/"!" screen.
then i read that pressing the home button and the power button on startup would get me to the same screen that i kept encountering on startup. My home button hasnt been working in about a week for some reason, and I started playing with the idea that maybe the home button being stuck on startup was causing the "!" screen to keep popping up and not booting up my phone. so i kept pressing the home button and all the other hard buttons on the phone while the phone powered up in hopes that the home button would become unstuck. sure enough it worked and booted up.
i then decided to upgrade to 2.3 through the phone under updates. phone booted up after the update finished and i had to go through the same procedure of messing with the bottom buttons until the home button was no longer interfering with the startup. Now that the upgrade went through, I have no 3G connection AND i cant charge my phone through both the wall charger and using the USB straight to my computer. It seems like when i plug it into my computer, my computer does recognize something is plugged in, but the battery still does not want to charge. And I tried it with both batteries i have and neither of them wants to charge.
Any ideas on how to fix these two problems, especially the battery not charging.
