Google has an rss reader that syncs with your Google Reader account. What I like about this app is that you can read your feeds in your web browser or in Google Reader and everything is sync'd for you.
it turns out android doesn't support any kind of authentication other then basic http authentication! so there is no way for me to set it up even browsing to the feed and entering the account information in the popup doesn't send the login credentials properly!
if anyone comes across this in the future, rss demon supports feeds that require basic http auth, but not windows authentication or anything fancy like that.
Also, it sounds like DoggCatcher may be able to handle authenticated feeds; I found that in under a minute on Google so I'd be willing to bet it wasn't the only feed reader out there that supports it. I might lose that bet, but I'd still make it.
