Root Help finding a rom

Ok, I got a X about two days ago and of course rooted it. Now i am coming from a evo and how the flashing and what not works over there after doing reading i see droid is alot different but the same. So i have a few questions for picking a rom

1. do i use rom manager and flash CWR (i already have)
2. Use droid x boot strapper
3. i do not want to go to gingerbread yet
4. looking for rubix that will run on mine...or any other rom just played with rubix b4 and liked it on my buddies X
5. do i need to change my radios

here is my specs right now

2. Yes, you can also use Bootstrap X for a recovery
3. Nobody is making you

hey thanks for the info i knew the bootloader is locked but coming fromt he evo things were different and i like how people are on the DX alot nicer lol but thinks i am going to go flash me self crazy now lol

ya i always hate that part about switching phones, you have to learn everything back over again.lol but it's always worth it.

You will find that we are MOSTLY a good bunch of DX owners here. If you have a question, don't be afraid to ask (after you research) we were all in your shoes at one time, and asking questions is what got most of us this far

so when they are saying like you need to be on 2.3.340 for this to work they are meaning as in the system version right?

haha i wish. I am darkSIDE the rom is darkSLIDE. Funny thing is....I have never even flashed that rom.

yeah and what i paid for all that i got to from verizon wasnt bad either lol i got all the docks and hdmi cables and charger and droid x all new 80 bucks
