Today i updated my windows (32 bit) computer flashtool to the lestest version using. When i installing the "flashtool-update-0.8.x-0.8.6.0-windows.exe", i disabled "Norton internet security antivirus auto-protect"

After installation finished each time when i run the "Flashtool" i got this error. However i can run the older version without any issue.

How do i fix this issue?

I would try to remove the update and see if it works if not then I would remove the old and then reinstall the old and leave it be. One of the age old adage if it aint broke don't fix it. comes to mind here
