Root help for root my epic

hi guy's I'm new in this world of android. I trying root my phone one click root exploitv2.2.4 but when i ran "run.bat" return

I install terminal emulator for test root, when i type su return su:not found

i have the same problem as nerydlg....

i have usb debugging on, current samsung driver downloaded from samsung website..and the root file on the c:/ drive also have downloaded sdk manager..

i've tried uninstalling the driver..and re-installing with the driver i download from samsung..

i ran cmd as an admin user...

i ran run.bat over and over trying diff methods such as takng the battery out for 30seconds and re-trying..

tried it with sd card mounted and un-mounted...

any suggestion or advice would be greatly appreciated..thanks you guys....
 
What works for me is ......turn on usb debugging and stay awake and mount the phone as well..... run "run.bat".....when it gets to the part about re logging in to adb.....right click the adb file and click run as administrator....also open task manager and repeatdley kill the adb process in combination with running the adb file as administrator and then the run.bat file will everntually respond.......works for me every time
