Help!! Galaxy Ace 2 X Sloooow...

Hi Everyone,
I just bought a new Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 X and it's sooooo slow. I have only downloaded 2 apps. (I did install the Samsung software stuff it suggests when you get the phone), Every time it updates an app it slows down even more. I can't play games, internet browsers are slow.

I tried deleting apps, only using 1 widget, still have over a gig of space on my phone, tried a launcher app-was still slow. I really wish I could get rid of all the bloatware or something.

I am new to Samsung and Android phones and would appreciate your help. Any idea what the problem could be and why phone is so slow to respond?

Thanks,

what android version are you running 2.3 Gingerbread or 4.1 JellyBean ?also what are you comparing the phones speed with if this is your first android phone ,

Hey Xenoblade,
I'm not really comparing the phone...slow is slow. I am using ice cream sandwich 4. I tried resetting the phone. I realize my RAM shows as half full before I have even installed apps etc. The ram is almost full again with only 2 apps. I am using 537mb of 645mb. I assume as the RAM gets full so does the fuctionality. Any suggestions?

firstly, ice cream sandwich is 4.0 and isnt available in stock rom for the ace 2 so if you have upgraded via kies to 4.1.2 it will be jelly bean. in which case, try backing up you phone to your google account then do a factory reset, by turning the phone off, then press volume up,home, and power buttons together, which will take you a screen where the first item will be reboot, look down the list until you find factory reset highlight it with the volume buttons, then press the power button to start, I, suggest you do this twice, then set up the phone as you would from new. this worked for me, and was advised by samsung customer care... good luck I hope this helps.:)
