HELP - Galaxy Note 2 Update Issue

Wow,
I permitted the requested Update this morning and when it was done it had changed(?) my PUK. My previous PUK will no longer work. I am unable to get pass this lock. Is this normal? I will be going to dealer when it opens later this morning, but want to know if I need to prevent updates in the future to avoid this inconvenience?

I don't know a lot about unlocking phones, but I have seen a lot of unexpected things occur during updates. I moved your question to the Note II forum where others that updated may be able to offer ideas.

Tech at local dealer advised that if I change the PUK code (which I do for security reasons), and do a wireless update it will reset to the default PUK (10 digit code). issued by the provider. To avoid that problem he suggested doing an online download which is slower but will not reset the PUK.
