I began the encryption process on my Galaxy S5 (SM-G900V) running 5.0, and it showed an Android encryption icon, the the screen went black and the LED pulsed blue. 4 hours later this is still happening. No progress bar or anything, just black. What should I do? I'm obviously going to leave it overnight but if it still is stuck in the morning should I remove the battery and reboot, or plug into a computer... and will I keep my files? I have some backups but I don't know if I have it all and need it urgently for Monday. Thanks a million for any detailed answers!

As Android says, Do you plug your charger and your charge is 100%? if so, Android says If interrupted the encrypt, this will cause the loss of data, or some, and do Android says "Don't remove the battery, Encryption is in progress."?.
