Root HELP! Google Play Store Server Error

Hi guys,

Last night I rooted my Nexus 4 (Latest version of lollipop 5.1.1) with CF-AutoRoot. All seemed to go well until today, when I opened up the play store and it just said "Server Error" and a retry button. No error codes, information, just that. I go to the side menu to click help and feedback, and the app always crashes. I really need to download my apps back by tomorrow, any help is appreciated!

What I've tried:
1. Rebooting phone
2. Force stopping the app
3. Clearing all data and cache
4. Turning on and off Wi-Fi

All you did was root?
You mention, "....download my apps back..." --- that infers that you got rid of them somehow?
What about accessing the Play Store without wifi?

I have Wifi, and cellular. When I rooted, it erased all the data on my phone.

Hmmm, not sure what happened as I am not familiar with CF Auto root and your device, but I moved your thread into the Nexus 4 root forum so others can chime in.

I always thought CF Auto Root was for Samsung devices, looking further it has the N4 on the list...but it looks like it's for 5.0 only. https://autoroot.chainfire.eu/
If it were me, I would do the whole process again using Wug's Nexus Root Toolkit.
