Help!!!!!! How to add android fota to android 2.2?

As I know, in android 2.2, google remove its source code of fota. But in Android 1.5, google support fota. How could I merge the fota code from Android 1.5 to 2.2?

Currently, the most popular fota mechanism is OMA. Red Bend do a good job on it. I remember android has its own mechanism of fota and provides source code in early version. But now, in andriod 2.2, the code has been removed. I want to kown how could we add android fota to android 2.2?
