Root HELP! I bricked samsung galaxy s3!

I'm not sure what to do. I tried to root my phone via odin and it failed, now im stuck in "odin mode" i can access download mode (volume down, home, power) but not reset mode (volume up, home, power)
my computer wont acknowledge my phones existence when i plug it in on samsung kies or regular desktop.
my carrier is wind mobile a smaller company in canada but i read somewhere that tmobiles sgh t999 stock rom should work on my model which is an sgh t999v. i dont know what im doing and i didnt think rooting it would be this complex or hazardous. if anybody can help me it would be greatly appreciated. ive spent hours trying to figure this out and i seriously dont have the money for a new phone right now.(broke college life)
any help anybody has to offer would be amazing. please i've been without my phone for 4 days now and i never realised how much we rely on them until now. :/

I moved your thread to Sub Forum: Root - Samsung Galaxy S3,You should get more help here.

If your phone is booting into to download mode still you should be able to fix it, and it should be showing up on the PC. I would try a different cable, and if you haven't already make sure you have the correct drivers installed. I'd also uninstall Kies. The drivers might be conflicting with Odin. You're should be able to use Odin to flash the correct stock rom to your phone.

You can make an account at http://www.sammobile.com/ and find your carrier and model S3 to download the latest stock rom. But, the link above AMOCO posted should have everything you need.
