Help HELP! I can't update my Vivid to ICS!

Just purchased my AT&T HTC Vivid today, loving the phone it's just I can't update it from 2.3.4 to ISC. It keeps telling me "cannot connect to server". It's bugging me out lol. Im located in New Orleans, La if that helps. Thanks!

You can download it directly from HTC's site if the OTA update is giving problems.

Did you purchase it through AT&T? I got mine on Mon. and out of the box it had ICS on it. Just curious why yours wouldnt?

The refurb I just got delivered from ATT today still has the old version on it so I will be doing the manual install when I get home. OTA isn't working for me, either.

EDIT: I have wifi at work but can't download to the locked down pc. I tried the forced system update command found in another ICS thread which seems to have gotten the ICS update started. It is: Dial *#*#682#*#* in the dialer while on WIFI.

I will update when I see which version number it loads with.

EDIT2: Loaded most recent version, 3.26.502.56. Looks like I have a few hours to play & learn. Good luck!
