Help! I just got my android today

I bought my Galaxy Cooper today, but do not know how to start with the installation for applications. I know I can simply go through android market icon, but I want to know how to download applications that are in this website.

Go to the Android Market.
Find the application that you are looking for and click on the price button.
It will then tell you what permissions that it wants.
Accept it and it will start downloading and installing.
