Newbie
Hey
I've got a HDC Galaxy Note 3 N9006
From ibaby888.
I wanted to install twrp recovery to fix the bugs in android fake touchwiz.
I also wanted to install CM11.
But i tried to istall twrp and it failed soo now i cant go into recovery or downloadmode.
And my IMEI is nothing now.
I tried everything to fix it but it did not work.
And i cant factory reset or hardreset ether.
Am I toast now or can i fix it?

Please help!!
FAST

Try HDC Galaxy Note 3 N9000 (MTK6589) - xda-developers

I didn't read through all 31 pages, but there might be enough data in there for you to flash a ROM to it.

Unfortunately it isn't even a "real" Note 3. While XDA is possibly going to be helpful I doubt very much whether you'll ever get it working. I can't see any ROM made for any Note 3 version (a "real" Samsung one that is) ever working. Since you cannot get into recovery or download mode and your IMEI is gone, I think you have a shiny paper weight only I'm afraid.

On a Samsung Galaxy device if your IMEI reads null/null on dialing *#06#, and you have no network connection you have corrupted your EFS folder. You would have to have a back up of it to restore or follow very complicated instructions that I am sure don't work. Unfortunately the phone as it is you cannot even dial *#06# or extract your corrupted EFS to work on it.

Others may disagree, but I think it is toast :(

Now i can go into recovery but the IMEI is like this:

----------------------
| IMEI |
| Invalid /01 |
----------------------

And it says no service
and it doesnt detect my sim card
And it did it before i tried to install twrp

If someone could help me i would apresiate that!
:D

Nope, your EFS folder is definitely corrupted. Without a proper back up previously done your not going to get your device back easily, if at all.

This is really the wrong forum for your device, but seeing how no such forum exists we'll try and help. I recommend lengthy study of XDA forums, other than that I have no idea I'm afraid. I hope some one else can help.

Where is the EFS folder located?

Because I took and copied all the files from the phone to my comuter and maybe I have the NON corrupted EFS file in there.

Thx for even Trying Mate!

I've now posted a new tread on XDA soo i hope people help me there.
But Thanks for redirecting me at least!

No one has even looked at my post!
Now I guess my phone is toasted
:(

Give it time, XDA are great for finding mods and ROMs, etc. but can be very technical and not as "friendly" shall we say as here. Provide a much information as you can in any post any where and you may just get lucky. There are also other forums that you could register and post in (though this one is the best !) without upsetting the good people here I suggest Android Central (Google it) they tend to be "friendlier" than XDA.

Good luck, although I have to agree your clutching at straws trying to get it working again. If you do find a solution, and it is not a completely lost cause, you could. Please report back here, you could save someone else's phone and this is what forums like these are all about.

Sure i'll try Android Central!

Thanks for the advise!
