help, i want to change firmware but my samsung epic 4g is rooted on frankenstein. i have apps etc backups of apps on my sd card i dont want to loose any of it. i know when you change your firmware your suppose to wipe all the cache on your sd, i want to change my firmware i keep getting random errors it just starts happening after awhile of being on this firmware its the 3rd time this is starting to happen again after wipeing, i just want to throw another firmware on and still be rooted and not loose data, possible?

Are you meaning rom? You can make a backup in cwm and just restore the data when you are on a new rom if you want. Need a little more info on what you are trying go to to help you better.
