Help installing antimalware

When I try to install an antivirus app (AVG and Avast) on my Galaxy GT-P5113 (Android 4.1.1), I click on the link that says Install, but I get a message about no device detected or something like that. THis happens in Google Play. The links are from the antivirus sites themselves, so I'm pretty sure these are good links. Not too sure why it says I have no device.

I am all thumbs when it comes to tablets, this actually isn't mine but I'm trying to help put some security software on this tablet. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
 
Hello and welcome to the forums. I see you having a problem with a app getting installed . First off just need to make sure the all unknown app source box is checked on the android device
 
Thanks for the replies. this isn't my machine and it may take me a while before I can get to it and answer these questions. I'll post back when I get answer.
