Help Help installing marshmallow on my phone

Hi ,I am using Samsung Galaxy grand prime Model No.SM G531F. my current Android version is 5.1.1 .Can anyone tell me how i can install marshmallow on my phone
 
Looks like Marshmallow was not released for the Grand Prime.

I moved this to the Grand Prime forum, you can look around and see if there are root and Marshmallow ROM options. Here are root posts:

The two main advantages of rooting a phone are being able to put a custom ROM on the phone and the ability to install apps that require root.

Two downsides - there is a small chance you can brick the phone, and if it's newer you may void the warranty.

The root process is different for every phone, so follow instructions for your specific device. Here is more information about rooting:

But there's no thread on rooting SM-G531F
 
Rooting that device you could flash pre rooted firmware. Or flash TWRP and SuperSU. MM, hmm not so sure. I don't recall any roms that run MM, but that's just a thought off the top of my head.

I have tried installing twrp using Odin but it's not working is there any other method of rooting and installing twrp?
 
If the battery comes out uncheck auto reboot. If it doesn't still uncheck auto reboot in Odin. Then flash TWRP, disconnect the phone and hold volume down and power. When the screen goes black switch to volume up, home and power.
