I cant seem to update to jellybean!! Could someone give me a hand? I returned to stock using the odin method and i cant even update to mb3! (status 7). Help anyone? Stock jelly bean rom??

i said the stock odin files were missing files, things like the modem are updated on ota's and when you odin back to the stock files i have posted you are returning that, ergo when you do the ota it is gunna sig check your stuff and if anything doesnt match up, then it will fail.

give it some time, for those of us that have installed anikernal to oc our rushes and didnt make a backup of the stock kernal first will have to wait for someone to make a flashable zip for jellybean. it wont take too long

status 7 is a general error, it will display what is actually going on. chances are its trying to update your kernel and since you have a custom kernel flashed...

the only way to get a full odin tar package is if sammobile has one, a leak, or you map out the entire phone, figure out what partition is what partition and name them accordingly and then tar them up in an odin tar format :)

I have never intentionally flashed a different kernel unless it was part of a rom I flashed. I tried almost all of them. I still don't know why I get the error. I also had the same problem with the update and flashed stockrom in cwm and it allowed me to be at mb3.

Lets just wait till somone generous enough will upload their jb version for us. Hopefully before the end of this weekend

Thank you so much! Now, im on stock so do i just need to flash for the update to work? Or wipe and flash?

It's not a flashable zip - It's a backup I made after using mattrakos's now removed stock rooted ICS backup to get to Jellybean and then factory resetting a few times. He removed his link after I notified him that there may have been personal data within it. If anyone would still like a stock rooted ICS backup I'll up it as well just let me know

So just unzip the file, move the whole folder within it to your clockworkmod/backup folder WITHOUT RENAMING IT, boot to CWM, factory reset, and restore it from where you just put it :D

Here it is - http://d-h.st/qKo

And it IS rooted :smokingsomb:
