Help Help: Light stays on while charging

I had plugged in the USB to exchange files, but lets not get into that drama, it rarely ever works. Anyway, while trying to figure that out, I some how found the option to leave the screen light on while it was charging, I thought, what a good idea, maybe that will allow it to connect to my computer - no it didn't, but anyway.

I usually charge my phone over night and as it's my alarm clock it's right next to my head - well last night the light kept turning back on an waking me up, I can't figure out how I turned that option on but now I want to turn it off!! I've looked through my settings but I am truly lost.

Any suggestions?? (light issue only, don't worry about the USB issue as I usually just take the mini sd card out and do it that way).

Here I found a solution to your problem
GO to
SEttings>Applicaitons>>Development>>and then uncheck Stay awake option.

That it now your phone will not light up when charging.
