I just got a Samsung on5 today and its memory is already full. The system memory is taking up 4.12 gb which is more than half. Is there a way to fix this?

Nope. Of the 8GB of internal storage on the on5 you only have 4.27GB available to use. A microSD card will help for some things like Music and photos but Samsung isn't supporting Adoptive Memory on their devices so you're SOL until they change their minds. Maybe a custom ROM would be smaller but I'm not into those so I'm not sure.
