Root Help making NANDROID Backup (please)

I finally figured out how to get in to the BootLoader/ Screen (Hold the Volume Down button while pressing Power and have the fast boot option off in settings)

After a bit of a wait the screen went white and there was a listing of some of the system items with version number. Below that was a menu with the following items:
Fast Boot
Recovery
Factory Reset
Sim Lock
Image

I did not scroll up/down or select anything because I did not know how to safely exit - can someone answer this for me.

So what do I do next to make a NANDROID backup?

Flash Clockworkmod recovery (manually flash CWMR 3 if you want to install Gingerbread at some point in life, otherwise just use the previous version ). download ROM Manager from the market here: https://market.android.com/details?id=com.koushikdutta.rommanager&feature=search_result and it'll get easy from there.

Once it's flashed, reboot into recovery and select backup/restore system, and back it up. It should take around 10 minutes, maybe.
