Help me find a contacts list?

I have over 200 people on my fb friends list- I don't like how they keep jumping onto my contacts list. The two apps I tried had automatic syncing- yuck. I almost want to forget i have a droid phone and have a contact list from the 90's.


I have no problem typing contacts in manually.

If it exists, I'd like to find an app with the following features:

Free app
Ease of use
ability to merge contacts
Ability to download individual contacts from facebook
ability to set ringtones for individuals and groups
Ability to send texts to a group

Anything like this out there?

I don't think you can make selective pulling of Facebook contacts. What I do is I just manage my contacts to Gmail, and set Facebook to sync with existing contacts, then turn off Facebook contact display. That way, all of my Gmail contacts have their Facebook data linked in the stock contacts app, but I don't see the Facebook data of anybody not in my Gmail contacts.
