If you're willing to get away from Metro's branded phones, check out the Moto G. You can get the HSPA+ 16 Gig version for less than $200, and the LTE 8 Gig version for $220. Now, the LTE will only come in 8 Gig though. It's a great phone, with tremendous developer support (over on XDA). I and a couple of other folks and tried getting things going over here, but it's a fairly slow forum, except for the CDMA version forum. I have the 16 Gig HSPA+ version and am extremely satisfied and happy with it. Both version will work on Metro. If you have any questions, ask away and I'll be happy to do my best and answer 'em (I consider my self a Moto G evangelist :D ).

i read about another motion user switching to the moto g. so the moto g is a 4g phone and metros 4g works on it? cause i had a phone once that a flash and had it on metro and i couldnt even get the 3g cause it was a flashed phone.

Yes, Moto does have a version that gets LTE. Yes, it will work on Metro (remember, we are a part of T-Mobile now). Like I said earlier, it's a great phone at a nice price point. One of the great things about it, is that it's not locked into a service provider. If you don't like the speeds or service with Metro, you can go to any of the numerous other GSM providers.

is the moto g from the other networks the same like boost mobile and verizon? i found a few under 100.

The Boost Mobile and Verizon are CDMA, so they are limited to slower (maybe 1.5 to 2 Meg) download speeds. They are also locked into their network. The best one to get will be from Motorola or Amazon (you will have to be sure you get the unlocked GSM if you buy from Amazon since, I believe, they also sell the Boost and Verizon).

Go with Moto X. fast, responsive, beautiful screen and touch less contols. you can get a refurbished or like new from amazon for around $200. It has 16gb of space, decent battery, feels great in hand.
