Help me keep my S3

Concerning loading pages between my 4s and my S3. I do believe that it is related to my signal stregth. Compared to my 4s the S3 does NOT have as good of reception. In my office, I'm often at 2 and sometimes even 1 bar of reception with my S3. My 4s is ALWAYS 3 and rarely 2. When I'm on the throne at work, my 4s would always be at 2 bars. The S3..... at one if existant at all.

Looks like you are in marginal 4G area. Then it's possible that LTE radio speed goes down to like 1Mbps or even lower and 3G radio in iPhone4S works faster like 2Mbps there. GS3 will always try to pick up LTE signal until it goes below certain level and then switch to 3G. But in good to strong LTE areas, it's absolutely no contest. 4G LTE will easily blow away 3G speed.

Also the way 4G android ICS phone is reporting signal dbm/bars is different from iOS reporting 3G signal strength. So you can't directly compare bars to tell which is getting better signal.

I was going to say, when you said that the iphone 4s loaded stuff from the web faster than your S3 i was about to post LIAR! but now i hear the explanation

I had the 4s on verizon and got crappy 3g speeds between 300k and 1.5mb max maybe. on my S3 i get 10mb at the lowest and 25mb very regularly and 39mb down at my highest. It's not contest. I use it as a mobile hotspot to run HD netflix, 2 laptops a PS3, and an iPad. This is something a 4S could never do.
