Hi all

Im getting a 1 next to my message envelope but ive no message. Ive deleted messages ive changed settings so more text allowed. Looked in spam messages. Turned off and on and still no luck. Please help.

Hello and welcome, Amylee. As Metroid Prime says, clearing the messaging app of data and cache material can resolve that issue, especially after rebooting the device.

I was wondering a few things, though: if you're using a 3rd party message counter, which itself would need clearing, or if the 1 is on the generic messaging icon and is indicating an email Gmail input (if you're using a 3rd party app from Play Store to indicate unread messages of any kind: mail, sms, etc).
