Hi cstone54. Sorry you are having problems. Have you installed anything that might be messing with your texts? It would have to be something installed the same time your problem started. More often than not a problem like the one experienced is caused by a phone just getting a bit confused. You might simply try powering off the phone and pulling the battery out for a few minutes. Replace and reboot. This causes a hard reboot vs the soft reboot it gets when simply powered off and on. This will likely clear your problem.
If you have already tried a hard boot with no results... it might take a factory reset to set things right. Best of luck to you and thanks for joining Android Forums.
