Hi..
Whats wrong with my samsung gt s-6802. Whenever i switch it off it never shuts down but shows this screen.

Battery shows 100% at one time and suddenly drains to 1% showing battery critically low.
Phone never sleeps.
I changed the battery n new samsung battery is there but problem persists. Help me pls.

did you try the settings app under factory reset or just settings reset?

No due to fear of data and thought of hardware problem.
But now i will give it a try. Thank you.
And if possible give me link to upgrade my phone to 4.1 or 4.2

Have you checked for any OTA updates on the phone itself, or failing that try checking for updates with Kies on a PC.

Yes. Officially its upgradable upto 2.3.6
And i have installed it already.
It a ram of 397 mb.
I want to install cyanogen mod rom on it.
But cant get an authentic source or link to upgrade my samsung gt s 6802.
