Root Help me root my phone so i can unlock it

cant root anybody have ideas????z4 doesnt work also tried GalaxyS_I9000_One-Click_Root no luck anybody help me root my phone so i can unlock it make work another carrier wanna give it somebody for x-mass thanks???

Strange. Z4Root should work on Bell Galaxy S Froyo. Try installing it again.

I have same phone, had it rooted with 2.1 on it, after update to 2.2 it wont root. I'm using one click root and when it goes to boot screen I select update from sd card, it starts to boot then says verification failed ,reboots as normal without rooting.
