Root Help me understand bump?

Does this mean our boot loader has been unlocked and custom kernels can be flashed?

Yes?? I'm not sure if the bootloader is considered truly unlocked. I was reading it as we are basically getting a security key that is saying whatever we are flashing is from LG itself.

but yes custom kernels (once we've got 'em for our phone) will be flashable

So every Custom ROM has to be bump'd before it can be flashed ? OR now that we have recovery we can flash any ROM developed for this phone?

Yes every rom/kernel will have to be bumped except stock.

No the bootloader is not unlocked, yes we can flash kernels as long as they're bumped.
