Help Help My No SD card Available after flashing new kernal

whats up ninjas!!!!
got a nexus s 4g about two months ago new to Androidforums
long time android fan

currently dealing with a nexus s 4g and a galaxy s Fascinate

going through some tough times at the moment

after flashing Matr1x-bfs_v8.0 on my nexus S there is no SD card available
can't even connect to PC via usb
 
Boot into the clockwork recovery, select mounts and storage, and hit the first selection mount/sdcard, reboot, it will probably give the same problem so do these steps one more time. Thank me if I helped.

Nothing after second nothing did it twice more nothing any other suggestions i'm trying to avoid a wipe
 
weird thing is I could go into recovery and select "install update from zip"
and when i go in there i could see all my folders and zips like it's still there,
but when i plug into usb nothing comes up,
also i try mounting sd card through CWM and nothing as well

finally worked kept trying until it finally did :D:confused: i don't know why it took 30k times!
