Help Help. My S3 Has Stopped Working!

Hello guys/wizards,

I have signed up to these forums today in order to ask for help. My S3 was working fine on Saturday evening, and I just had it plugged in charging, and all of a sudden, it crashed and hasn't got past the flashing Samsung logo on startup. I've already tried the power+home+volume-up idea and it keeps saying “E:Failed to Mount /EFS”

What do I do? Where have I gone wrong? Can anybody help?

Hello there and welcome!
That doesn't look good. I'm not sure why that happened, but have you tried pulling the battery? (not sure if that would even fix it judging from the EFS bit).
So with the home/power/volume up combo, that message you are getting---"E:Failed to Mount/EFS"--appears in recovery? Or you cannot even get that far?
What about download mode? (home/power/volume down)?
