Help needed, ASAP

So I was jacking around, trying to find an .apk of Civilization Revolution 2 for Android when I accidentally pushed accept on the wrong file and ended up downloading a bad apt called File Manager v1.1. It's under the file name com.dv.fm.pro and it is, from what I have found, a very persistent adware. It makes ads pop up on my phone very frequently and also prevents my phone from entering safe mode. It also refuses to let me enter and change my device admin settings and has also asserted itself as a device admin, preventing me from uninstalling it. Not only all of that, but I cannot find it in my file browser, even though I know it's there, and I would really like to avoid having to root my phone just to get rid of it, considering that I don't have access to a PC and therefore cannot use Odin3. Please help! I don't know how much farther it's going to ruin my phone.

You could have put your phone, I'm assuming Samsung because of the ODIN reference, into SAFE MODE and deleted the app. I don't know the exact step for entering safe mode for your specific model, you don't state it. But that would have alleviated factory resetting and starting over.

Sorry for late reply, but was scanning through the forums.
