Lurker
I rooted my htc evo v 4g recently and I did not make a back up of the original system. I'm new too rooting so I had no idea what I was doing and accidentally deleted the personalize app thing under setteings. Now every time that I try to flash a new rom or the one I was previously using it says that there is an error exciting updater binary in zip (then it names the folder) error flashing zip and then it names the folder again. If there is any advice on how to fix this it would be greatly appreciated

The phone will turn on and go to the lock screen but when u unlock it it just says that it's loading. It also says there is no current operating system

So I just recently rooted my evo v 4g and didn't really know what I was doing. But I was able to root it however after that I accidentally deleted the personalize app thing under settings which seemed to affect the phone but it still worked. After that I tried flashing to a different rom however it said there was an error executing updater binary in zip (then it says the folder) error flashing zip. Then the rom will not load successfully and if u try to power up the phone it says there's no OS

If any one has any ideas of how to fix this they would be greatly appreciated

Make sure you are wiping all partitions, except sd card.
If you still have no luck, I suggest installing 4ext recovery. It seems to always fix these kind of issues.

Also, are you still s on?
