Hello AndroidForums :3 So a couple days ago I moved to Israel, bought a new SIM card from Cellcom but it doesnt work 
Found out that carriers lock their phones.... Most stupid thing in the world.... literately (pun intended ).
I found some ways around it for OTHER PHONES, gee gosh Metro, why dont you toture us more.
Anyways I was wondering if anyone knew how to bypass this restriction?
I was told that its more complicated than changing values in some files in the file system as its not stored in the filesystem... which seems weird to me, because other phones bypass it using this method.... Idk its just weird and ive been googling for days.
PLEASE NOTE I am aware there are online services which give you the codes needed to unlock your phone with other carriers, and that they are trustworthy, but I have multiple phones for my whole family of 7, buying unlock codes for all 7 is extremely .... pricey, and was wondering if there was a way to bypass this :3 I could also contact MetroPCS and ask for it, but I dont think it works internationally and since we moved getting the information like account Id could be tricky since we didnt bring any old papers for phone stuff here.

ZTE ZMAX Z970 4.4.4 (METROPCS)
Also aware a IMEI number is needed but I wanted to send that privately to whoever could help me if it even needed.
