Help needed with cleaning space on my device

Hello,

I recently bought a Htc Desire and I am very happy with the device.
There is actually only one thing that is really bad. There is not enough space on the device.

And it's not for a lack of trying either. I have already cleared all the cache. I removed all apps I did not need and moved all apps to the sd card.
I even connected with adb and set the default install location to the sd card. Still I get insufficient space warnings while trying to install new apps. The app I need to install is angry birds space.

Apps taking up most storage:
Adobe Flash player
Maps
touchpal input (I use this one a lot so I do not want to remove it)
facebook (would love to delete this one but I cant)
skype (use it often so no delete here)
play store
touchpall dutch language pack
contacts (5mb)
gmail
whatsapp
angry birds rio (3mb)
foursquare
goggles
ted

The rest is really small so not really worth mentioning
Rio is actually installed to the sd card. Skype, whatsapp, foursquare, goggles and ted also share that fate.

Currently I have 20.71 mb available but play store sais it is not sufficient to install angry birds space.

Did Htc actually saved money on this and thus made my phone only half of what it could be with a small amount of more memory?

And most important how can I solve this. Can I add internal storage memory? Is rooting the device a solution?

Source:How much memory does the HTC Desire smartphone have?

Answer: The HTC Desire smartphone has the following memory specifications: Removable Storage Type: microSD card Removable Storage Included: 8 GB Maximum Removable Storage: 32 GB
Internal Storage: 512 MB
RAM: 384MB

Looks like to me you are stuck. You can not add internal memory/storage or more RAM.

Either delete apps or get a different phone.
