Help needed with M8 android TV box

Hi all, I got a new M8 android TV box and it originally open on a page which gave you an option on which page you would like to choose, now it only opens on Kovi homepage. I cannot access the original homepage or my apps. I would be very grateful if one of you can guide me back to the original homepage.

Try pressing the home button repeatedly of the back/return button or escape button.

Do you have a wireless keyboard or just the crappy remote?

My box is slightly different to yours but I found hitting the home button a few times got me back to the apps screen
