How do you delete contacts? Also how do you delete/move apps?

contacts: long press on the contact untill a menu pops up. the last option on that menu is 'delete contact'
Apps: depending on what apps your talking about... you may or not be able to delete them without root. MOST apps that came with your phone probably cannot be deleted with regular user access. however...
menu --> settings --> applications --> manage applications --> press app name in list --> press 'uninstall'
