Help help needed

Hi there,

today I installed latest version of KIES software. Selected to Install drivers in menu.. And then connected my galaxy s to my laptop.. KIES said there is an update for my phone so I clicked ok do it.. After a few means, it says connection lost try again.. but my phone shows: Downloading... Do not turn off Target!!!.. I'm being waited since 30 mins but nothing changed.. shall I still wait?

I had the same bug. I disconnected and went to download mode (volume down, home button and power button) Recovverd my phone tto normal.

Again tried the update and the second time it worked for me. But kies kan bring up problems it has a lot of bugs but you can almost evrytime get your phone up and running even if you arn't mutch of a tech person

yes, it's a bug.. At the first time, windows should load second drivers for flash but during this progress Kies disconnecting from the device so device just awaiting the transfer..

What I did to fix this issue?
- Waited 1 hour, nothing changed.
- Removed battery and waited 10 seconds
- Inserted batter back.
- Opened Phone - Re-connected to PC
- Re-attempted to upgrade wirmware via Kies.
- Worked.
