Hi everyone newbie here.. I purchased S3 from friend about 3 months ago just wanted to know how do I get back to being under warranty with above info....Also my device says modified when I try to update software currently running on 4.1.2.....Also I've never tried to download a custom Rom or modify anything before or even flash on a mobile phone completely new to me....thanks.

You can't change the Knox 0x1, which is the problem. It's like a non-replaceable fuse, once it goes, it's gone.

Thanks Rukbat for your swift reply.I was wondering if there was a way of doing a complete wipe and downloading the software onto the phone? A bit like when you get your phone brand new out the box.

Run triangle away to get rid of the count, flash a stock rom via Odin.

The Knox will always so as 0x1, so you have no warranty...
